JOE & LINDA CLOUTIER

Owners

Joe and Linda Cloutier have been visionaries in the affordable housing world for decades, developing their first affordable housing community in 1976. Since then, Joe and Linda have continued to develop numerous low-income housing communities through HUD, Rural Development, and LIHTC programs. Joe’s primary interests include expanding his energy business RE-GEN while also applying those concepts to existing and future affordable housing projects.

HEATHER DEANE

Chief Executive Officer

Heather joined Realty Resources Management as a Part-time Administrative Assistance in January of 2015. Shortly thereafter, in July of 2015, she was promoted to Site Manager for a newly acquired property, which included overseeing the rehabilitation of the property. Heather was quick to learn all aspects of property management, including budgeting, administration, personnel and tenant/resident relations and was promoted to Regional Property Manager in 2016. In 2020 Heather was promoted to Director of Operations.
Heather is in charge of the day-to-day operations of Realty Resources Management and is committed to managing properties that make stakeholders proud. She employs a keen ability to work effectively with all groups and collaborates to ensure deals achieve success, no matter the structure.
Heather has a keen understanding of all affordable housing programs and is known for her problem-solving skills and for providing outstanding service to our clients and tenants. Heather holds industry certifications of Tax Credit Specialist and Certificated Occupancy Specialist.

BILL PEARSE, JR.

Chief Financial Officer

Bill has worked closely with the Cloutier family since 1986. Having graduated from Thomas College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Bill has performed various accounting services over the years for the Cloutiers’ entities and business ventures. Bill is involved in the day-to-day operations and financing of these entities, including oversight of partnership issues and banking controls. Beginning in 2000, Bill worked with Realty Resources Chartered, the development arm of Realty Resources, preparing and finalizing development and operating proformas for low income housing projects.

LAURA HOCKETT

Director Of Operations

Laura started her property management career in Texas managing conventional housing in 1983. In 1990, she moved back to Maine and has been managing HUD, conventional, Rural Development and LIHTC properties ever since. Laura was promoted to Director of Operations in 2021. Her experiences have armed her with in-depth knowledge of housing programs and state government, enabling Laura to effectively maneuver through the multifaceted environment of affordable housing.

HELENA YAROSIS

Director of Occupancy

Helena joined the company in 1991 and provides oversight to the occupancy department, ensuring consistency across all projects, responding to audits and overseeing compliance. She is also responsible for all TRACS and MINC transactions and annual reporting for LIHTC, Bond and HOME programs. She is experienced and certified in most affordable housing programs, including C3P, TCS, TaCCS, certifications as a tax credit professional, STAR, COS, and COSA.

BERNARD PREDHAM

Accounting Manager

Bernard joined Realty Resources Management in March of 2021.  His prior role as a banking financial analyst, experience with financial reporting, previous background working with a Maine State Housing portfolio and most recently as the Corporate Controller of a local energy company uniquely positions him for the Accounting Manager role at Realty Resources Management.  Bernard has successfully supervised accounting teams, and the day-to-day operations that accompany this role.  Bernard oversees a diverse portfolio of affordable housing financials as well as supervises in preparation of reports for lenders, investors, regulatory agencies and owners.  In addition, Bernard is responsible for working with auditors on a variety of different levels, as well as the preparation and follow up of budgeting and financial statement reporting.  Bernard graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting.

NICHOLE LORENTZEN

Development Officer

Nichole joined the company in 2018 to work closely with development teams and underwrite complicated deals of multiple funding sources. She is also responsible for billings, accounts receivables, accounts payable, and overseeing financial statements. Currently, she is working towards a Level II accounting certificate through the University of Maine at Augusta.

 

OUR REGIONAL PROPERTY MANAGERS

SOPHIA GRIBIZIS

Southern Maine Region

Sophia joined Realty Resources in 2021 as a Regional Property Manager overseeing the operations of our entire southern region spanning from Alfred to Lisbon, Maine. Her current portfolio includes a mix of HUD, Rural Development and LIHTC elderly and family properties. Sophia has an Associate’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, as well as various certificates in Landlord/Tenant Relations, Fair Housing and Civil Rights. She is skilled in affordable housing, conflict resolution, and lease administration.

CINDY BACHELDER

Northern Maine Region

​Cindy joined Realty Resources with a background in site management for several other management companies. Her portfolio included HUD, Rural Development, and LIHTC projects. She is also a licensed Real Estate Broker. At Realty Resources Management, her projects include a mix of Rural Development and LIHTC projects from Newport to Millinocket, and she oversees our Bangor office.

THERESA MCDONALD

Mid-Coast Maine Region

Theresa joined the Realty Resources Management team in 2018 with an extensive background in affordable housing management. She is experienced in resident retention, inspections, capital improvements. Theresa began her property management career in 2006. She is experienced and certified in most affordable housing programs, including TCS, STAR, and COS. Theresa oversees a portfolio of Rural Development, LIHTC and HUD properties in Mid-Coast and Down East Maine.

SHARLENE MCEACHERN

New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont

Before joining Realty Resources Management, Sharlene was Property Director for the Rockingham Area Community Land Trust in Springfield, Vermont. She was responsible for the management of six LIHTC projects and 17 smaller projects for the Land Trust. She has been involved in grant writing and in developing service-enriched housing programs, and is President of the Vermont Housing Managers Association. Currently, she is the Regional Property Manager for our elderly and family complexes in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont.

SELINA BROOKS

Western and Coastal Maine Region

Selina joined the Realty Resources Management team in 2016 with a background in conventional multifamily housing management. She is experienced in resident retention, inspections, capital improvements, budget oversight, reporting, and accounts receivable and payable. Selina began her property management career in Eastern North Carolina in 2002. She is a Certified Apartment Manager, Certified Tax Credit Specialist and a licensed Real Estate Broker. Selina oversees a portfolio of conventional, Rural Development, and LIHTC properties in Southern Maine and oversees our Bath office and coastal properties.
